Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on September 10, 2026.
North 131 Overstock is committed to making our website usable and accessible to as many people as possible, including individuals with disabilities. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
Standards We Aim For
We aim to align our site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, a widely recognized standard for web accessibility. This includes efforts such as:
-
Providing sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
-
Ensuring the site can be navigated using a keyboard, not just a mouse
-
Using clear, descriptive text for links and buttons
-
Structuring content with proper headings for screen reader compatibility
-
Including descriptive alt text for meaningful images where possible
Platform-Level Accessibility
Our website is built on Wix, which includes built-in accessibility features and works to align with accessibility standards at the platform level. We rely in part on these platform-level tools, in addition to our own efforts within the content and design choices we control.
Known Limitations
We are a small, independently run business, and we acknowledge that not every part of our site may currently meet every accessibility guideline perfectly. Third-party content, embedded tools, or older content may not yet be fully optimized. We are actively working to identify and correct these gaps over time.
Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter any barrier while using our site, or need assistance accessing any content or completing an order, please contact us at north131overstock@gmail.com. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will make reasonable efforts to address issues raised and provide the information or assistance you need through an alternative method if necessary.
Ongoing Effort
This statement reflects our accessibility efforts as of the date above. As our site evolves, we will continue working to identify and fix accessibility barriers as part of our normal course of business.
